A Decade Long Collaboration with Driscoll Health System
Client Background:
Geomedia has enjoyed a decade-long partnership with MDR Advertising in Corpus Christi, leveraging our expertise in authentic storytelling, cinematography and post-production to craft narratives that connect with their various audiences. This partnership has grown from trust as we collaborated in the latest development of Driscoll Children’s Hospital’s creative branding campaign. Our partnership with MDR enabled stories filled with warmth and comfort while focusing on Driscoll’s healthcare expertise.
Challenges and Approaches:
One creative choice, in our collaboration with Driscoll, was creating seamless visual transitions across different stories from hospital patients. Match cuts were visually designed to connect personal experiences outside the hospital with the responsiveness and care of hospital staff. Geomedia spent extensive pre-production time researching and developing (RND) each transition to create flow from scene to scene. Storyboarding was valuable so that all parties, including Driscoll’s team, could visualize how each actor, element and scene transferred to the next before filming commenced.
Engaging and collaborating with Driscoll’s in-house marketing team was extremely valuable in producing a production plan that worked in parallel with operations. Our alignment with MDR’s creative strategy, budget and timelines ensured a cohesive execution. Every visual detail, from scene composition to audio scoring and original music, was intentional and purposefully designed to reinforce the message.

Our editorial team is skilled at crafting compelling and meaningful narratives in post, through visual selection, visual effects, color grading and audio scoring that elevate the emotion of each second on screen.
