Martin Jaeger is a San Antonio native, a founding partner and one of the head honchos at Geomedia, Inc. Martin has 27 years of experience as a designer, motion graphics artist and animator.
Martin has been involved in the arts his entire life. As a kid, he spent his free time sketching and drawing and he won numerous art shows in junior high and high school. Unlike most artists, Martin used his ability to earn money. He started working as a professional artist as a teenager at a commercial art studio. His combination of artistic talent and business acumen would serve him well in the future.
In the 80s, Martin took a brief detour from the arts to found a sport aviation firm, which he sold in 1988. For his next venture, he decided to keep his feet on the ground and founded HyperGraphics, Inc., a technical illustration firm, where he incorporated the computer as a design and illustration tool for the first time.
In the mid-nineties, Martin embraced new technology and branched out into 3D animation and motion graphics. He teamed up with Murray Breit, the owner of a successful video production business, to create Geomedia, Inc. At Geomedia, Martin and Murray brought computer technology to the process of video editing, motion graphics and animation. By incorporating all of these services under one roof, the forward-thinking pair set a precedent for innovation grounded in proven techniques that Geomedia maintains to this day.
Today, Martin serves as Geomedia president and senior designer/animator/VFX artist. He oversees the graphics department, as well as day-to-day operations. When occasionally not working, Martin enjoys hang gliding, cooking and spending time with his family.
