Trash Talking

 

Green is good.   Recycling is a great way to reduce the negative impact we make on the environment.  For many in San Antonio the choice to recycle was never an option.  Apartment, condo and multifamily dwellers didn’t have a viable option when it came to recycling.  Back on June 24th San Antonio City Council passed a 10 year Resource and Recovery Plan to “ensure that all  residents in San Antonio have convenient access to recycling programs.”  City of San Antonio Solid Waste Management chose Geomedia to produce a 30 sec TV commercial to introduce this new Plan to the city’s multifamily residents.

Inspired by the vision of Solid Waste Management Department’s staff,  the resulting commercial is a straight-forward concept to get the recycling message out to San Antonio’s new recycling participants.

On first glance the spot looks simple enough.  But actually there are quite a few of visual effects, compositing elements and rotoscoping techniques used throughout the commercial.   We think the best effects are the one that aren’t noticed.
